Soul mates exist
Today my family got into a debate about love, marriage, soul mates and parents. Yeah, we’re weird. Anyway, my cynical brother said something about spouses being replaceable and I knew that to be untrue. Because my grandparents marriage showed me. Every day.
When we were young, and before we understood the concept of arranged marriage, we asked my grandpa how he met and married granny.
He...

Ten Day Challenge
Ten Day Challenge.
Day 1: Ten random facts about yourself
*There’s not one single vegetable I hate.
*I’m not as clever as I wish I was.
*Since the age of six my favourite ice cream flavour has been Mint Choc Chip.
*I’m extremely clumsy but I don’t bruise easily.
*I don’t tell other people’s secrets

“I don’t care how handicapped you are,” I whispered to him. “I love you. I’ll always love you. I’ll protect you and look after you. If anyone’s going to be mean to you, they’ll have to deal with me first.”

The Sorrow of Socks
Some socks are loners – They can’t live in pairs. On washdays they’ve shown us They want to be loners. They puzzle their owners, They hide in dark lairs. Some socks are loners – They won’t live in pairs.

I Loved You - Alexander Pushkin
I loved you; even now I must confess,
Some embers of my love their fire retain;
But do not let it cause you more distress,
I do not want to sadden you again.
Hopeless and tonguetied, yet I loved you dearly
With pangs the jealous and the timid know;
So tenderly I love you, so sincerely,
I pray God grant another love you so.
